He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Mason. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
