He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears dull grey sweaters, loose black pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed sai, just in case. His small hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He has gray eyes and a grey hat with a black feather.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He got into the Cook business at a young age. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Cook for the past few years.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
