History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Elaim was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents enrolled him in a Druid school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
