History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Miller. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Arannis was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He became a Engraver soon after.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Merihim was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Merihim's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and to find somewhere to settle down
