History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His childhood dream was to be a Soapmaker, but he was a colossal failure. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Scribe for hire.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. A true patriot, Merihim would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Merihim and his spouse have recently divorced.
