History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Marbas grew up listening to his father's many stories. Marbas abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Marbas never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.
