History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

His brown hair has been sun bleached extensively. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He married young, but lost his spouse to orcs. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

His brown hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a wide-brimmed hat. His eyes are likewise violet. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Seeks redemption.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers
