History: Richard was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Shoemaker for hire.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. Aust is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Aust lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Bowyer, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He became a Brewer soon after.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and a deep hatred of dire rats
