History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears an entirely black suit with pastel socks and a vest with buckled shoes. He wears his brown hair up. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Travok is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Travok alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
