Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, River was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Butcher work with an outfit from a few towns over. Butcher work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He became a Butcher soon after.

Personality: Hubert hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.
