Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Quarethon grew up listening to his father's many stories. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and doesn't want to be a stableman and was forced into it by his family

He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
