History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Through the years after Gorbundus was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Gorbundus's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: He is a Detective first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Detective but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born in a small desert village. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He tends to his Detective job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
