Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. The war was a terrible time for him, and Vrondiss does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Vrondiss was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Vrondiss's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Vrondiss and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Osco is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Osco was born on a far western forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Fletcher. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
