Description: He is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Painter, and he perpetually has his whip ready. His small hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He is baby faced.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Painter business.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mantus grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mantus. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature whip.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it.

Description: 3'3" and muscular, this western man wears skinny pants and wears a grey and green robe with the hood down. He has a long chestnut beard with little hanging trinkets. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he wants revenge against illithids

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears tattered old clothes, and a wedding ring on his right hand. His crest is brass and curly. His gold unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and wishes to resurrect an old love
