When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Through the years after Taklinn was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He worked as a nervous Doctor and found it very stressful. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
