History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He worked as a nervous Courier and found it very stressful. After a long history of fighting, Rael and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes goblins are coming to abduct people. Mugrunden enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Mugrunden was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.

Motivation: Revenge.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Gimgen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
