History: He is a Maurezhi in disguise. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Kerkad grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Kerkad. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order.
