Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'9" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a red costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on his torso. He keeps his brown hair in a flapper bob. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. Azaki is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Azaki was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and many dire rats want him driven away

Description: This man stands a little under 6'8" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a tight fitting red shirt and pants. His red hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a clover scrunchie. His gold eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

His silver hair is braided into rings. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Kyle was born on a far southern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Layabout. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
