History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Ruler work with an outfit from a few towns over. Ruler work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's also a talented Miller, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
