Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Oppleby was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Druid, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Druid in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

History: Born in the south to a Bather, Rael learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Vondal was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Spice Merchant. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
