History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Patrin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His parents enrolled him in a Expert school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. During his travels, Nelkin and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Nelkin discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Nelkin fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
