History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Kerkad never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He found a children's book about a Human Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero.
