Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He has a very tight haircut. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He invites people to come help in his community garden.
History: Varis lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Jeweler they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Tailor, and he later adopted a second son.
Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: This man wears a yellow vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His pastel leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his yellow boots flare out at the collars, and sports empty pouches on his belt. His brown fur is heavily combed to the right. He has hazel eyes and a yellow hat with a pastel feather.
Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.
History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking southern young adult. He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. With bright chestnut hair and a scraggly beard. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Elves.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Halimath grew up listening to his father's many stories. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. During his travels, Halimath and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Halimath discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Halimath fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.

Description: He is lean but muscular and is typically in his Healer uniform. His long red hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.
History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Healer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Healer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Healer responsibilities is difficult.
