History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gifted student he started as a Mercenary, but he got bored and became a Scribe. He struck the Scribe job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and doesn't want to be a scribe and was forced into it by his family
