History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His childhood dream was to be a Doctor, but he was a colossal failure. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His moppish white hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He hates drow. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. Through the years after Faran was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Faran's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it
