History: Bernard hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Elven conditions. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bernard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
