History: Born in the north to a Layabout, Richard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of orcs may trigger it at times.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Qualen was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He has never given up on his painting dream.

History: He was born in a small forest village. Valafar liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
