History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

History: He got into the Shoemaker business at a young age. Through the years after Jak was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Jak's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.
