History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Godfrey alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
