History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sword.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized tan coat. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Fisher and was forced into it by his family; and wants to raise his children well

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Elves. His skin is dark but he possesses many black ritualistic tattoos. He tends to wear a large green jacket. He keeps his chestnut hair in a pixie cut. His fierce green eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Arannis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Arannis. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
