History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Burto was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His childhood dream was to be a Blacksmith, but he was a colossal failure. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

His beard is golden, braided, and well cared for. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature kukri.
