History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. History: He was born in the west. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Eberk will drive conversation. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. Eberk was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Body Guard. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Eberk was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.
