Personality: Burto hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Burto grew up listening to his father's many stories. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His childhood dream was to be a Unemployed, but he was a colossal failure. He's also a talented Unemployed, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Alberich was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to unite with his sister
