History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Richard grew up listening to his father's many stories. He found a children's book about a Human Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Erdan grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Erdan. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
