Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Borun was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. After coming to the age of reason, Borun took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and many dire rats want him driven away

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep brown leather and dull pastel iron scale mail. He has dyed his greying chestnut hair a little too much giving a sharp chestnut color. This amber eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Nelkin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He tends to his Mercenary job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Expand his business; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears bulky grey painted plate armor, and a wedding ring on his right hand. He wears a colorful flower in his silver crest. His red eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Mehen was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
