He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Duergath fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He always admired druidic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Description: This man wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt, and sports empty pouches on his belt. His auburn hair is heavily combed to the left. His skin is flawless and his amber eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Thorpe isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Thorpe took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up club and armor he uses now. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
