History: Born in the east to a Armorer, Tethren learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He worked as a nervous Armorer and found it very stressful. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Cairn was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Marshal. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
