When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Sheggen was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.

History: Frederick was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Frederick alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
