History: He was raised in a desert tribe. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears yellow trousers with tan and blue striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to cover his moderate length brown fur. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Serpent was born the youngest of three triplets. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Serpent alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and regain custody of his daughter

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty blue coat over it. His red fur is singed and shortened. His eyes are blue and catlike.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son.

Description: His skin is bronze and flawless. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He is an epitome of beauty. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Barber and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
