History: Sammal was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Through the years after Sammal was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Sammal's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gifted student he started as a Sellsword, but he got bored and became a Soapmaker. He now owns his own business.

History: Born in the south to a Gardener, Pog learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He worked as a nervous Gardener and found it very stressful. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
