History: Chem lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. Through the years after Halimath was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Halimath's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
