Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. His auburn hair is cut short. His eyes are likewise green. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Naill grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Naill. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Nelkin embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 12 years.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he's repulsed by the pc

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with black colored cloaks and clothing, and a wedding ring on his left hand. His long chestnut hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His eyes are likewise violet. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Bucklal was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out
