History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. Oblar is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He found a children's book about a Halfling Bard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Justin embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: Justin lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his painting dream.
