History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born to a Bookbinder, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Marshal hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor.
