History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. History: He was born in a small desert village. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Animal Trainer father left him crippled. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to pay off his debts

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He now owns his own business.
