History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Efferil alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: Kipper was raised in a hard working conservative environment. At some point he was captured by illithids and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He now owns his own business.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. His addictions have taken their toll on his wallet, and he has found himself with a great deal of debt owed.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Baradad was born the youngest of three triplets. His first spouse was a Bowyer, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.
