History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Tod was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Beggar responsibilities is difficult.

His mother taught him the rudiments of the Knight arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
