History: Bernard was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Gifted from a young age, Akmen studied abroad. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Laborer for hire.
