Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized black coat. He sports a flattop hair cut. His brown unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.
History: Faran lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and regain custody of his son

Description: This man stands a little under 4'5" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He has a large blue mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his violet robe. His blonde hair is thinning but still full. His blue eyes peer out from beneath his feathered blue hat.
Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: Born in the south to a Miner, Thorin learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Description: He wears a tattered pair of loose brown pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. He wears his black fur down. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines amber.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: He was born on a small isolated farm. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Description: He has a large yellow mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his tan robe. He is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly maces and flails. His green crest is drawn into a tight pony tail with a cross scrunchie. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Trynnicus was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Being a Layabout kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact
