History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Varis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He has all his life been fascinated with singing.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. He tends to his Fortune-teller job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and to find somewhere to settle down

Description: This man stands a little under 5'3" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He tends to wear a large pastel jacket. He sports a flattop fur cut. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Layabout for hire.

Motivation: He wants revenge against brigands; and revenge
